Our
Story
Our founder, Bharti Radix, created BloomsYard after years of moving fast and pushing hard in the corporate world. She saw how much people needed places that offered more than just caffeine — they needed community.

She wanted to build a space where people could feel seen, supported and inspired. Where food and drink are served with love and where business, creativity and wellness could come together under one roof.

She came up with the name: BloomsYard...
“Bloom” stands for feeling good, growing, and thriving.
“Yard” is the kind of place you go to reset, reconnect, and feel like yourself again.

BloomsYard is not just a name—it’s a mindset. We're not just a café, but a hub for connection, creativity and conscious living.

At BloomsYard, we’re here for the little rituals that make a big difference.
That first coffee of the day. A glass of wine to mark the end of it. A pot of tea when you need a pause. Every sip and every bite is made to feel good—crafted with care, never rushed or mass-produced.
We’re not a big chain—and that’s the point.
BloomsYard was built to feel different. More thoughtful. More personal. A place where you’re not just another order, but part of something real.

We’ve handpicked every blend, bottle and bake based on what we love. From buttery pastries and sourdough crumpets with jam to our famous carrot cake and a whole counter of ‘picky things’—cheeses, charcuterie, juicy olives, fresh bread and more.
Whether you’re grabbing something to go or settling in for a slower moment, we’ve got you.
And if you’re not sure what to try — just ask. Our team are very friendly (and maybe just a little obsessed).
Meet B
Bharti Radix (B) is the founder of BloomsYard—and the kind of leader who brings people, purpose and brilliant ideas together.
With over 16 years in hospitality, B has worked with some of the UK’s most well-known food and drink brands, helping scale operations, build high-performing teams, and launch products that customers love.
From supporting founders behind the scenes to leading complex rollouts across 50+ sites, she’s been at the sharp end of what makes hospitality work—and what happens when it doesn’t.

After years of pushing hard in fast-growth environments, Bharti knew there had to be a different way of doing things. A more human way. And so, BloomsYard was born. ​
Today, B leads BloomsYard with heart and intention—creating spaces that feel good and do good, from the coffee in your cup to the culture behind the counter.
​
Through her personal brand, Hospitality B, she mentors hospitality founders, provides CFO and NED services, and speaks on panels about inclusive leadership, sustainable growth, and what it really takes to build a business that lasts.
​
She’s also a proud partner of Female Founders Rise, Be Inclusive Hospitality, and British Asian Entrepreneurs, regularly opening up the BloomsYard spaces for events and championing underrepresented voices across the industry.

For B, this isn’t just about blooming-good coffee. It’s about community, care, and doing business better.
